Communicating before, during and after severe weather events can be challenging. No one knows this better than Wayne Hunter and Ethan Marsh from Drew University.

Over the last two years, they have had multiple severe weather incidents that caused long-term power outages and dangerous situations on and around the Madison, NJ campus. From the Snowtober storm in 2011 to Hurricane Sandy and the most recent ‘Nemo’ blizzard, the emergency response plan including the use of Blackboard Connect has come into play.

Attend this informative hour-long webinar to learn how the university was able to successfully respond using emergency notifications alongside other emergency operations plans to keep students and staff safe and informed during severe weather events.
